Soil Building & Planting Field Day

Join us for a free Soil Health Field Day as we continue our work at Parque de Alegría in Doña Ana!
Together with DAVA (Doña Ana Village Association), we’ve been caring for the land at Parque de Alegría, and this field day will continue that effort. We’ll focus on building healthy soil and supporting a thriving desert landscape through hands-on activities like spreading mulch, planting additional nopal (prickly pear), and inoculating plants with microbes to strengthen the ecosystem for long-term growth.
All are welcome to come learn, connect with the land, and spend time with the community.
After the field day, we’ll share a free, grant-funded meal together to celebrate our work.
